YouTube video series

In 2009 the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce commissioned a series of YouTube videos to help spread the word about the jewel of the Ottawa Valley. You can click on the following video links to experience and share them with your friends and business associates, or easily add them to your own company Web site, blog or Facebook page.

Adding Mississippi Mills videos to your Web site, blog or Facebook page

To add the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce video to your Web site:

1. Click on one of the desired YouTube videos from the link above. 

2. When the video starts playing, look to the right.  You will see a grey box containing information about the video.  At the bottom of this box are two codes – a URL code, and an Embed code.  Copy the Embed code.

3. Paste the embed code into the source code of the page on your Web site where you want it to be displayed.

To add the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce video to your Facebook page:

1. Click on one of the desired YouTube videos from the link above. 

2. When the video starts playing, look to the right.  You will see a grey box containing information about the video.  At the bottom of this box are two codes – a URL code, and an Embed code.  Copy the URL code.

3. Go to your Facebook page and click on the “Applications” menu (on the grey bar, bottom right).  Click on “Links”.

4. Paste the URL code into the box labeled “Post a link” and then click “Post”.

5. You will then see a box labeled “What’s on your mind?”.  If you like, you can put a few words in there about the video, or why people should watch it.  When you’re finished, click the “Share” button to finish the process and post the video link to your page.

To add the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce video to your blog:

1. Click on one of the desired YouTube videos from the link above.
