You are cordially invited to join us for the next Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce Mixer at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd in the Barley Mow pub in Almonte.
This month's speaker will be Gord Pike. Gord will speak about his exciting new plans for the redevelopment of his properties at the north end of Mill St. which he presented to Mississippi Mills Town Council in the spring. Gord has had a variety of businesses in Almonte/Mississippi Mills over the last 34 years going from the downtown to the edge of town and now back with a renewed enthusiasm.
“This town has been good to me and I’m not going anywhere. They’re going to take me out of here in a box. It’s time to give back and I think we’re at the tipping point where an effort like this can have a larger impact”.
The Chamber Mixer is an opportunity to learn more about your neighbouring businesses and share concerns, insights or just a beer. It’s worth it. Join in and add to the energy.
Members attend for free - and are encouraged to bring a guest, also for free. Non-members attend for $10.00, collected at the door. There will be a cash bar and nibblies provided by Barley Bow.
