The Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce has improved the level of service to the members significantly in the past two years! The implementation of new plans at the directors level and in the management of the Chamber has seen the following benefits improve to the membership:
- The directorship now boasts of some of the regions most formitable business personalities. Representing the chamber interests have now been taken on by leaders in business business planning, networking, communications and management.
- More and more attention is being brought to key business issues specific to our community including downtown revitalization, business development, economic growth and marketing.
- The town's businesses now have a full time representation of all issues and concerns to the town council. We have achieved cooperative projects with the town ensuring that their involvement in business development becomes increasingly compatible with regional business needs.
- New value added expertise will be introduced as more "business help" style events and programs become available to members. Starting with our impressive business personalities on the board and including a growing list of specialists in business growth etc. we will be ensuring our membership has a continual source of beneficial information.
- Marketing Mississippi Mills business has also become a priority for both our membership and communications committees. Both have already made significant inroads into the media and are planning a continual program of marketing the Mills and member businesses.
- Member services will continue to increase with the addition of key services for members.
